Mindaugas Kavaliauskas: Kraziu Portretas / Portrait of Kraziai
A collection of documentary images on the landscape and people of Kraziai, a small historic village in northwestern Lithuania. The photographs, made between 2001 and 2003, speak to a time of profound change, as the vestiges of the country's Soviet past fade and with membership in the European Union looming, signs of globalization emerge. The work was exhibited widely across Europe, China, and Australia and earned several awards or distinctions. Photographs, introduction and short essay by Mindaugas Kavaliauskas; essay by Egidijus Aleksandravicius. From an edition limited to 1500 copies.
